Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Abingdon/Avon). They put the hurt on the Princeville Princes with a sharp 24-10 win on Thursday. The Tornadoes have beaten the Princes the last seven times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Princes has come to flipping the script.
Addy Onion was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits.
