Leading Wendover to victory were Gaby Delgadillo and Kadence Murphy. Delgadillo scored 11 points along with three steals, while Murphy scored 14 points along with five rebounds. Delgadillo has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played. Another player making a difference was Millie Hicks, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Wendover is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which lines up perfectly with their 12-4 record this season. As for Wells, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-9.
