Baseball Recap: Forbush Has No Trouble Against Mount Airy

Forbush got themselves on the board against Mount Airy on Thursday, but Mount Airy never followed suit. They were the clear victor by a 10-0 margin over the Mount Airy Granite Bears. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Dylan McClamrock was incredible, scoring three runs while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in runs. Another player making a difference was Bo Moxley, who scored a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Forbush's record is now 2-0. As for Mount Airy, their loss ended a ten-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 0-2.

Forbush has already played their next game, an 8-1 win against Chatham Central on the 1st. As for Mount Airy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 13-0 defeat against North Iredell on the 1st.
