The Comer Tigers put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Fayetteville 49-0 at home. The result was nothing new for Comer, who have now won nine matches by 22 points or more so far this season.

That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-9 Saks and 1-9 Central of Coosa County (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 39.5% over those games). As for Fayetteville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Comer will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Washington County at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. As for Fayetteville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Holy Spirit Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd.
