It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Living Word Lutheran had no problem doing just that  on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Mayville Cardinals as they made off with  a  3-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Timberwolves sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
 Living Word Lutheran walked away with the   victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-18, 25-14,  25-17.
 Eden Roethel paced Living Word Lutheran's offense, picking up 16 kills. Roethel got some help from  Emree Kellerman and her 37 assists.  Kaleah Alles controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
Living Word Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 32-7. As for Mayville, their loss was  their third straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 21-13.
 Coming up, Living Word Lutheran will look to defend their home court  on Thursday against Laconia  at 7:00  p.m. Mayville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
