Eastern South Dakota recap November 19, 2013
Riggs added to the longest winning streak in Eastern South Dakota this week by beating Watertown, 34-7. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
The Arrows fell to Riggs 34-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Yankton's Mason Strahl and JJ Hejna led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-11 quarterback Strahl has thrown for 1,132 yards this season, while Hejna has 38 catches for 821 yards. Mitch Johnson from Mitchell leads the league in rushing with 520 yards.
Jayson Poppinga's team made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,241 from 1,851. The advance stemmed from a 34-7 victory over Watertown last week.
