It was a good run, but the Mullins Auctioneers unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 57-42 bruising from Darlington. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Mullins has scored all season.
Mullins' loss came despite strong showings from JJ Davis and Deyon Ford. Davis scored 16 points, while Ford scored 12 points. Davis scored a full 38.1% of Mullins' points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Amir Lee, who scored four points.
Mullins' defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Darlington, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-2.
