1A Region 6 Top Player Performances of the Week
Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances in games played on Thursday and Friday (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!
Wright Came Up Big in French Camp Academy's 22-12 Defeat
Starting off the list is French Camp Academy's Logan Wright, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Wright rushed for 119 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 113 yards and a touchdown.
Wright and French Camp Academy will challenge Nanih Waiya at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Warriors, probably because Wright had a solid game then too: he rushed for 65 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 136 yards and a touchdown. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Velma Jackson Wins Fifth-Straight Thanks to Tyshun Willis
Velma Jackson picked up their fifth consecutive win on Thursday thanks in part to Tyshun Willis. Willis did his part (and then some), picking up a sack and making two total tackles (2.0 for loss) for the 'W'. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making two total tackles (2.0 for loss).
McAdams's probably not too fond of Willis given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Willis saw the Bulldogs), he picked up two sacks, forced two fumbles, and made four total tackles.
