Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Casteel struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Williams Field racked up 12 assists.
Williams Field pushed their record up to 11-6 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Casteel, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Williams Field and Casa Grande will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Casa Grande has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 14. As for Casteel, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Mountain Pointe at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th. Mountain Pointe will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings (they are ranked 215th, while Casteel is ranked 70th).
