Utopia had won nine straight games and Jett Smothers did his part to make it ten on Saturday. The Utopia Buffaloes breezed by the Knippa Crushers to the tune of 57-28 thanks in part to Smothers, who posted 26 points and seven boards. Those seven rebounds gave him a new career-high.

The team also got some help courtesy of Charlie Leman, who put up five points, to go along with six rebounds and three blocks. He is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last three games he's played.

Utopia pushed their record up to 10-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points per game. As for Knippa, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Utopia will venture away from home to square off against Vanguard Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Vanguard Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.4 points per game this season. As for Knippa, they will challenge Legacy Traditional Basse at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
