Sports Leadership & Management is 0-5 against Pahrump Valley since January of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Sports Leadership & Management Bulls will be playing in front of their home fans against the Pahrump Valley Trojans at 6:30 p.m. Sports Leadership & Management will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Nevada Rankings (they are ranked 58th, while Pahrump Valley is ranked ninth).
Sports Leadership & Management unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They lost to Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas at home by a decisive 48-33 margin.
Meanwhile, Pahrump Valley put the finishing touches on their 17th blowout victory of the season on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 51-28 margin over The Meadows School. Winning may never get old, but Pahrump Valley sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Pahrump Valley's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Avery Moore, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Moore has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kailani Martinez, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.
Sports Leadership & Management's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Pahrump Valley, they pushed their record up to 24-2 with that victory, which was their ninth straight at home.
Sports Leadership & Management was dealt a bruising 52-19 defeat at the hands of Pahrump Valley in their previous meeting back in January. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Sports Leadership & Management was down 41-8.
