Wilcox RVT dropped their record down to 11-4 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Abbott RVT Wolverines, falling 8-1. The contest marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

As for Abbott RVT, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.6 runs over those games.

For Abbott RVT's part, Tyler Waterbury made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched. Those 14 strikeouts gave Waterbury a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last seven times he's played.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jake Farrell, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two RBI and one run. Starling Garcia also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
