In what's become a running theme this season, the Riverfield Country Day Ravens gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They really took it to Chouteau-Mazie for the full four quarters, racking up a 65-32 win on the road. Given Riverfield Country Day's advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 141st, while Chouteau-Mazie is ranked 400th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Riverfield Country Day's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Max Harper led the charge by scoring 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Braedon Clinton, who scored 15 points along with six assists and six rebounds.
Riverfield Country Day has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. As for Chouteau-Mazie, they dropped their record down to 3-13 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverfield Country Day's road trip will continue as they head out to face Regent Prep at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. Regent Prep is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. As for Chouteau-Mazie, they will head out on the road to face off against Summit Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Summit Christian Academy is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last seven games.
