Volleyball Recap: Knob Noster Extends Winning Streak to Four

Knob Noster entered their tilt with Richmond on Monday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Knob Noster walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-20, 25-14.

Gabriella Quinones paced Knob Noster's offense, picking up 13 kills. Quinones got some help from Tinlee Jones and her 21 assists. Madison Betz controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Knob Noster's win bumped their record up to 7-10-2. As for Richmond, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.

Knob Noster didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Lexington on the 30th. As for Richmond, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Carrollton on the 30th.
