Quest Charter Academy has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Heyworth Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Monday, Quest Charter Academy took a serious blow against Calvary, falling 79-47. While losing is never fun, Quest Charter Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 579th, while Calvary is ranked 132nd).
Meanwhile, Heyworth was the victim of a rough 59-39 defeat at the hands of Fieldcrest on Tuesday. Heyworth has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Quest Charter Academy bumped their record down to 1-6 with that loss, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Heyworth, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-5.
Quest Charter Academy came up short against Heyworth in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, falling 57-48. Can Quest Charter Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
