On Wednesday, Neumann Regional Academy made easy work of Bucktail and carried off a 68-45 win. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 43-22.
Neumann Regional Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jozef Savage, who scored 20 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyrick Moy, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, South Williamsport's recent rough patch got a bit rougher two weeks ago after their third straight defeat. They took a 51-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of Montgomery.
Neumann Regional Academy now has a winning record of 10-9. As for South Williamsport, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.
Neumann Regional Academy strolled past South Williamsport in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 57-40. The rematch might be a little tougher for Neumann Regional Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
