Long dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds, while Palisi scored 20 points along with six rebounds. Palisi scored a full 57.1% of St. Edmund Prep's points, the sixth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
St. Edmund Prep's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 4-7. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.1 points per game. As for St. Dominic, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
St. Edmund Prep will head out on the road to face off against Maria Regina at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Maria Regina is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
