Brighton hasn't had much luck against Skyline recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Bengals will be playing at home against the Eagles at 3:30 p.m. Brighton has given up an average of 8.1 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Brighton is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Monday. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 13-12 heartbreaker at the hands of Alta. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Alison Nikolaus was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, she pitched 6.1 innings while giving up three earned (and ten unearned) runs off nine hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-5.
In other batting news, Olivia Issowits led a balanced group of hitters, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-5. Audrey Fleckenstein was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 25 runs the game before, Skyline was a bit more limited in their game last Friday. They lost 20-2 to Hunter. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Wolverines recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
Mia Robinson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.
Skyline's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Brighton, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Brighton has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Skyline struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.5 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Brighton took their victory against Skyline in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 13-1 score. Do the Bengals have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
