After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Charlotte Elite Academy, the McBee Panthers were happy to have found some success on Friday. They pulled ahead with a 58-57 photo finish over Elevation Prep Academy. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Kenard Heyward and Wright. Elevation Prep Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Legion Collegiate Academy at 10:00 a.m. on December 30th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in their respective states (Legion Collegiate Academy is ranked 346th in South Carolina, while Elevation Prep Academy is ranked 344th in North Carolina).
