Basketball Recap: Ada-Borup Gets the Win

Ada-Borup posted their closest win since December 7, 2023 on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 66-64 victory over the Red Lake County Central Mustangs.

It was another big night for Austin McCraven, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 boards. That's the most boards he has posted since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was Cadyn Dahl, who posted 13 points and three steals.

Ada-Borup smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in five consecutive contests.

Ada-Borup now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Red Lake County Central, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-1.

Ada-Borup and Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Red Lake County Central will take on Clearbrook-Gonvick in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Clearbrook-Gonvick will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Red Lake County Central surely won't give up without a fight.
