The Worland Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They took a 39-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lyman. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Worland of the 42-41 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2023.
Lyman's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was BriLee Bradshaw, who scored seven points along with nine rebounds and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Anna France, who scored eight points along with six steals.
Worland dropped their record down to 4-13 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Lyman, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Worland will take on the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lyman, they and the Outlaws will face off at 5:00 p.m. on February 8th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
