Tea has struggled against Dakota Valley recently, as their matchup on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Dakota Valley was led to victory by Luke Bruns and Jaxson Wingert. Bruns scored 24 points along with 5 rebounds, while Wingert dropped a double-double on 28 points and 11 rebounds. Grant Vandenhul was another key contributor, scoring 6 points.
Tea's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Dakota Valley, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Tea will be playing in front of their home fans against Tri-Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Dakota Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Beresford at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
