After a string of four wins, the Coral Academy of Science - Reno Falcons's good fortune finally ran out  on Tuesday. They were dealt a  58-27 defeat at the hands of Yerington. The  match was a close  18-15 at the break, but unfortunately for Coral Academy of Science - Reno it sure didn't stay that way.
 Despite the loss, Coral Academy of Science - Reno still got an impressive performance from   Ashleen Kaur, who  scored ten points along with eight  rebounds and three  steals. Kaur hasn't dropped below three  steals for seven straight games.  Kailyn Damasco was another key contributor,  scoring four points along with six  rebounds and two  steals.
 Coral Academy of Science - Reno  struggled to work together and  finished the game with only four  assists. That's the fewest  assists they've managed all season.
 Yerington found their leader in underclassman  Laney Triplett, who  scored 29 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Triplett has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kaitlin Coulter, who  scored 11 points.
 Coral Academy of Science - Reno's defeat dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Yerington, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won ten of their last 12 matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record  this season.
 Coral Academy of Science - Reno will be playing at home against Sierra Lutheran at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Hopefully Sierra Lutheran focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 18 last Saturday. As for Yerington, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Silver Stage at 2:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Silver Stage comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last six games, a trend the  team is of course eager to reverse.
