The Quitman Panthers had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 35-14 margin over Forest. The result was nothing new for Quitman, who have now won three games by 20 points or more so far this season.
Quitman has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. As for Forest, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-2.
Quitman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Forest will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Morton at 7:00 p.m. Morton is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
