The Town East Christian Eagles and the Grace Classical Christian Academy Gryphons squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Town East Christian Eagles had to settle for second. Town East Christian took a 32-19 hit to the loss column at the hands of Grace Classical Christian Academy.
Grace Classical Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Wyatt Keith, who rushed for 150 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry. Bryce Jones was in the mix as well, providing Grace Classical Christian Academy with two touchdowns.
Town East Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Grace Classical Christian Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-4.
Town East Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Grace Classical Christian Academy will face off against Hill County at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hill County has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 164 points over their last three games.
