Warren is 0-7 against Orangefield since March of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. The Warren Warriors will face off against the Orangefield Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. Warren is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.
If Warren beats Orangefield with five runs on Tuesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. Warren beat West Orange-Stark on Saturday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 5-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.
Parker Brocato was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up a single earned run in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Brocato wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Cyrus Cimei, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave Cimei a new career-high. Nicholas Tolar also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last contest, Orangefield made sure to put some runs up on the board against Holland on Saturday. Orangefield put the hurt on Holland with a sharp 14-1 win. Winning may never get old, but the Bobcats sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Matthew Johnson was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing Three bases. while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Easton Sprayberry, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-4.
Orangefield always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .586. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Holland only posted an OBP of .200.
Warren's record now sits at 7-5. As for Orangefield, their record now sits at 11-2.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Warren has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.5 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Orangefield struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Warren might still be hurting after the 10-0 loss they got from Orangefield in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can Warren avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
