After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against City of Life Christian Academy, All Saints' Academy was happy to have turned things around  on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by  a  21-11 margin over the Bishop McLaughlin Catholic Hurricanes. With that  win, the Saints brought their scoring average up to 7.4  runs per game.

 Skylynn Gaskin made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out ten batters over  five innings while giving up just two earned  (and nine unearned) runs off   four  hits. The dominant performance gave  her a new career-high in  strikeouts. She was even better at the plate,  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances with one  home run, five  stolen bases,  and six  RBI. That  home run was  her first of the season.
 In other batting news, All Saints' Academy let  Haleigh Finnigan and  Ellie Groseclose run wild. Finnigan  scored four  runs and  stole  Five bases. while  getting on base  in all five of her plate appearances, while  Groseclose  scored four  runs and  stole  Six bases. while  getting on base  in all five of her plate appearances. With that strong performance,  Groseclose is now averaging an impressive 1.8  stolen bases per game. The team also got some help courtesy of  Cira Whitchard, who  scored a  run while going 3-for-4.
 All Saints' Academy  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .738. Their  OBP was a full 0 higher than the also-impressive .515 that Bishop McLaughlin Catholic posted.
All Saints' Academy's first  victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Bishop McLaughlin Catholic, their defeat was  their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 0-4.
 Looking ahead, All Saints' Academy will square off against Discovery at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. All Saints' Academy has given up an average of 17.6 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Bishop McLaughlin Catholic, they will challenge Cambridge Christian at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday.
