Cavonta Washington Delivers Electric Performance Vs Newport
Starting off the list is Rivercrest's Cavonta Washington, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Washington rushed for 140 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries, and also threw for 254 yards and two touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes.

The victory was the third in a row for Osceola, bringing their record for this year to 3-1. Bell and Osceola will welcome Newport at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Thanks in part to Jayvin Thompson, Harrisburg said goodbye to their 14-game losing streak dating back to last season. Thompson produced his best game of the campaign on Friday: he rushed for 148 yards and four touchdowns on only nine carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 84-yard run.
Harrisburg's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. Thompson will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Manila on Friday.

Newport's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-1. Barker and Newport will face off against Osceola at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
