The Arbor View Aggies's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Desert Pines Jaguars at 6:30 p.m. on December 8th. Arbor View will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Nevada Rankings (they are ranked 42nd, while Desert Pines is ranked tenth).
Arbor View's 16-7 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They took a 59-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Faith Lutheran. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Arbor View in their matchups with Faith Lutheran: they've now lost five in a row.
Meanwhile, Desert Pines put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Palo Verde 55-18 on the road. Fans of Desert Pines have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Trista Mabry was her usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with 9 rebounds and 7 blocks. Another player making a difference was Siara Bracey , who scored 13 points along with 8 rebounds.
The losses dropped Arbor View to 1-2 and Faith Lutheran to 5-3.
Arbor View was taken down by Desert Pines 70-37 when the teams last played back in February. Can Arbor View avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
