Section 6 DD recap November 5, 2013
Clymer Central moved up to 478 from 516 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Section 6 DD. The Pirates climbed the ranks as a result of besting Franklinville 21-20.
Clymer Central and the Panthers played the closest game in the league this week, with Clymer Central eventually emerging with a 21-20 victory. Matt DeStevens threw for 53 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 44 yards in the win.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Frewsburg's Brady Collver and Bryce Peterson have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-10 quarterback Collver has thrown for 984 yards this season, while Peterson has 17 catches for 365 yards. Kyle Saxton from Panama leads the league in rushing with 792 yards.
The Bears are currently in fourth, while Cattaraugus-Little Valley is in first.
David Bodamer's team made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 12,172 from 12,648. The advance stemmed from a 21-20 victory over Franklinville last week.
