Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bear Creek to victory, but perhaps none more so than Rachel Vasey, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds. Vasey is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Samantha Johnson was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six steals and five assists.
Despite the loss, Adams City still got an impressive performance from Morgan Williams, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. Williams hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for five straight games.
Adams City struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Bear Creek's victory was their third straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 38.33 points. As for Adams City, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
Bear Creek will be playing in front of their home fans against Erie at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Erie is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Adams City, they will head out on the road to face off against Northglenn at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Northglenn's defense has only allowed 29.2 points per game this season, so Adams City's offense will have their work cut out for Adams City.
