Meanwhile, Concord Christian Academy came tearing into Tuesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20 points) and they left with even more momentum. They escaped with a win against Fairwinds Christian by the margin of a single free throw, 46-45.
Concord Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Carlin Hollis - Homeschool, who scored 26 points along with five rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hollis - Homeschool has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Keavon Bailey - Homeschool, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Calvary Christian Academy dropped their record down to 1-8 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Concord Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
Calvary Christian Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against Concord Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, sneaking past 60-57. The rematch might be a little tougher for Calvary Christian Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
