The Richardson Eagles will challenge the Nimitz Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Richardson has seven straight wins, Nimitz has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
If Richardson beats Nimitz with ten runs on Tuesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Eagles didn't even let Irving on the board on Thursday, marking the Eagles' second-straight 10-0 shutout.
Cal Attel made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in February.
In other pitching news, Sullivan Riley looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in February.

Meanwhile, Nimitz came up short against Berkner on Thursday and fell 7-3.
Damien Franco made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Ugalde, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances.
Richardson's victory bumped their record up to 12-4-2. As for Nimitz, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.
Richardson couldn't quite get it done against Nimitz in their previous meeting back in March of 2025 as they fell 6-2. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
