Monticello moved up to 440 from 469 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Section 9 A. The Panthers were able to make move up by besting Rondout Valley 42-6.
Cornwall Central extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Goshen Central, 62-0. This was the team's ninth consecutive win.
Cornwall Central's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Dragons feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Mike White has thrown for 1558 yards and 21 touchdowns this season, while Alex Cruz has 25 catches for 599 yards. Luke Zsido leads the league in rushing with 644 yards.
Cornwall Central led Section 9 A in scoring this week after putting up 62 points on the Gladiators. White threw for 173 yards and one touchdown in the win.
