The Foothill Mustangs waltzed into their contest Wednesday with three straight wins but they left with four. They blew past Aspire Alexander Twilight Secondary Academy, posting a 75-21 victory at home. Foothill might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won four matches by 38 points or more this season.
Foothill's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jamir Jackson, who scored 16 points. That's the first time this season that Jackson scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Arley Lopez, who scored 12 points.
Foothill is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Aspire Alexander Twilight Secondary Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Foothill's homestand continues as they prepare to take on San Juan at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th. San Juan comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 19 points in their last six games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. Aspire Alexander Twilight Secondary Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Mira Loma at 8:30 p.m. on December 14th. Mira Loma presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Aspire Alexander Twilight Secondary Academy in California (Mira Loma is ranked 479th, while Aspire Alexander Twilight Secondary Academy is ranked 1276th).
