Lauren Roehrig made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Roehrig was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Chilton got a massive performance out of Mya McGinnis, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI and two runs. Those four RBI gave McGinnis a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sophia Pingel, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Chilton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .652. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .308 or higher in six consecutive games.
Chilton's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Sheboygan Falls, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.
