Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Cornwall Central Dragons, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They had to suffer through a rough 49-14 loss at the hands of the Silver Warriors. Cornwall Central's defeat signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.
Despite the loss, Cornwall Central still got an impressive performance from Connor Cruz, who picked up 124 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Cornwall Central's defeat dropped their record down to 11-1. As for Niskayuna, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-1.
Cornwall Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Niskayuna is on the road again on Friday and play against Somers at 6:00 p.m. on November 24th. Somers is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
