Kellam put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Tallwood Lions 72-48. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 20 points or more this season.

Kellam pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.0 points per game. As for Tallwood, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kellam won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Phoebus at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Kellam knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight games -- so hopefully Phoebus likes a good challenge. As for Tallwood, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Princess Anne at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
