Florence put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Apache Junction Prospectors 68-35. The Gophers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 20 points or more this season.
Florence got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Adrian Taufaasau out in front who went 9 of 13 en route to 18 points and seven rebounds. Taufaasau has been hot recently, having also posted two or more blocks the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Brody Ramirez, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 13 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals.
Florence was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Apache Junction only posted five assists.
