Osceola is 8-2 against the Colts since December of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Osceola Seminoles will look to defend their home court against the Rivercrest Colts at 6:00 p.m. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Osceola has struggled recently with three defeats in a row, while the Colts will arrive with three straight victories.
Two weeks ago, Osceola lost to the Hornets at home by a decisive 56-41 margin.
Meanwhile, Rivercrest earned a 49-38 victory over the Hornets on Thursday. 49 seems to be a good number for Rivercrest as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Rivercrest's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Destiny Burks, who scored 23 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Burks has scored at least a third of Rivercrest's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zakiyah Brownlee, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and three blocks.
Osceola's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Rivercrest, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.
