The Lebanon Yellowjackets put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. They breezed by Rolla on the road to the tune of 42-10. The result was nothing new for Lebanon, who have now won eight contests by 23 points or more so far this season.
Jax Glendenning continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 208 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.9 yards per carry. Glendenning was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 57 yards. Gavin Smith and his 123 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Lebanon's victory.
Lebanon's win was their sixth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 9-0. It's not like the team was facing easy opposition over that stretch either, as it included 9-1 Kickapoo and 11-2 Lebanon (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 59.4% over those games). As for Rolla, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
Lebanon will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Branson at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. Rolla will have plenty of time to ponder what went wrong as they've got a bye scheduled next week. After, they'll take on Helias at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th.
