Unity had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Glenwood City Hilltoppers.

Unity easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-18.

Unity had a senior duo take command as Madison Wilhelm had 12 assists and four aces and Elizabeth Jerrick had 15 digs and one assist. With that strong performance, Wilhelm is now averaging an impressive 2.5 aces per game.

Unity was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in seven consecutive games.

Despite the loss, Glenwood City still got an impressive performance from Opal Voeltz, who had seven digs and two aces. Tori Miller also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Unity's record is now 11-6. As for Glenwood City, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Unity has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Cumberland on the 20th. As for Glenwood City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Clear Lake on the 20th.
