Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Sunday (76), Newman AAA still had to take the loss.
Despite the loss, Newman AAA still got an impressive performance from Luka Toews, who scored 35 points along with seven assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Toews has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Hudson Geremia, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
Newman AAA's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-8. As for Varsity Opponent, their win bumped their record up to 383-1390-2.
Newman AAA will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Varsity Opponent on February 10th. As for Varsity Opponent, they will be playing at home against Newman AA at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Newman AA has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,278 points over their last 17 games.
