Last Tuesday, Riverside was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 48-47 to North Side. Riverside has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Riverside's defeat came about despite a quality game from Aaron Stewart, who went 6 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 27 points and 2 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Stewart has scored all season. Jordan Wilson was another key contributor, scoring five points along with ten rebounds and two blocks.
O'Bannon suffered their biggest loss since November 14, 2023 on Tuesday. They suffered a tough 65-39 defeat at the hands of Leflore County.
Riverside's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for O'Bannon, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.
Riverside didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against O'Bannon when the teams last played back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 48-42 win. Will Riverside repeat their success, or does O'Bannon have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
