Clatskanie might have drawn first blood against Rainier on Friday, but it was Rainier who got the last laugh. Clatskanie took a hard 20-36 fall against Rainier. Clatskanie were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Rainier apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat from the last time the teams met up.
The loss dropped Clatskanie's record to 3-2. The victory bumped Rainier's record up to 5-0.
Next week Clatskanie take on Taft at 7:00 PM. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'. As for Rainier, they will face off against Dayton. Rainier will be strutting in after a win while Dayton will be stumbling in from a defeat.
