Despite the loss, Kimberton Waldorf saw an underclassman step up: Colton Mailey scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. That's the first time this season that Mailey scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Franklin Matichak, who scored eight points along with two steals.
The win got United Christian Academy back to even at 2-2. As for Kimberton Waldorf, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games.
