Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Ossining). They claimed a resounding  97-45 victory over the Port Chester Rams. The  contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  66-23.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ossining to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Claire Schnecker, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on 24  points and nine  rebounds. What's more,  Schnecker also racked up six  assists, the most she's  had since back in January of 2024.  Saniya Bell was another key player,  almost  dropping  a double-double on 26 points and nine  boards.
 Ossining  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 13  offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least 11  offensive rebounds in seven consecutive  matchups.
 Port Chester's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Karah Provenzano, who  went 6 for 13  en route to 14  points in addition to six  rebounds and six  steals. Provenzano is  on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed two or more in the last nine games she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Elise Thomas, who  dropped  a double-double on 11 points and 11  boards.
Ossining is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven games,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record  this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 74.3 points per game. As for Port Chester,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 6-5.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ossining will venture away from home to  square off against White Plains  at 4:45  p.m.  on Monday. Ossining knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully White Plains likes a good challenge. Port Chester has  already played their next  match (against Scarsdale B), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
