LEE won the last time they faced Canyon Lake and things went their way on Friday too. The Volunteers walked away with a 2-0 victory over Canyon Lake.

Sophia Duarte paced LEE's offense, picking up five kills. Duarte got some help from Chloe Bengoechea and her 13 assists. Duarte was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

LEE has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Canyon Lake, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.

LEE wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Churchill on the 23rd. As for Canyon Lake, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Marshall on the 23rd.
