Lynnwood were out to avenge their 13-47 defeat to Everett from the last time they squared off against one another, but they had no such luck. Lynnwood took a hard 7-25 fall against Everett. Lynnwood were down by 0-25 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
The loss dropped Lynnwood's record to 0-2. The win got Everett back to even at 1-1.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Lynnwood take on Meadowdale at 8:00 PM. Everett will be staying on the road, facing off against Shorecrest.
