Bishop Machebeuf was handed a 12-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Estes Park, sneaking past 4-2.

The team relied heavily on Miles Edgar, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Bishop Machebeuf is undefeated when Edgar posts two or more runs, but 4-8 otherwise.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Clear Creek, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 12-7 victory over Ellicott on Saturday.
Zephyr Schuessler made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched five innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, Blake Weichel was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Caden McKown, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and two runs.
Clear Creek kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Clear Creek's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Bishop Machebeuf, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-8.
